How well has the Slash 4x4 competed with the other SC trucks in the West coast races?

Where can I find the Rules for SC racing class at NRC or at the other local East Coast tracks?

I am just wondering what the reasoning is for not allow 3S. What about tires and other parts?

most all elec. classes around are 2S on 1/10 scale and in the 4x4 class as long as you run SC tires and rims (no 1/8 buggy tires) and a SC type body your good it's a somewhat open/mod class since most don't come with a motor/esc. but thats where the line gets fuzzy some guys are running the novak line motors HV ones and they are small 1/8th scale motors ROAR says you must run a 1/10th scale motor, but most club racing they don't care they are not any faster for the most part it's that they don't heat up as quick/easy as the 1/10th ones do.
I have a 1/10th CC 4600 in my Hyper and it's been fine but I do have a HV5.5 to go in it when I get time

Thanks for the clarification. So 2S it is....

As for the Tires... What do you recommend for the NRC track?

Does it stay rough and loose like it has been during the off season or will it get smooth and packed? I am sorry for these stupid questions but I am new here and haven't seen the Track during the actual race season.
